Free eLearning for Data Protection Leads in Social Care

Free eLearning for Data Protection Leads in Social Care

Digital Care Hub is excited to announce the launch of its new, free eLearning course for Data Protection Leads in social care organisations. Tailored for small to medium-sized care providers in England, this course is designed to help those responsible for data security and protection enhance their skills and meet the requirements of the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT).

The course is perfect for those looking to improve their knowledge of data protection, cyber security, and compliance, supporting both professional development and organisational security. The modules cover a range of important topics and are built with real-world scenarios that reflect the challenges faced by care homes, supported living, home care, and community services.

The modules are:

Module 1: Data protection rights and responsibilities

Module 2: Keeping data secure

Module 3: Threats to data security

Module 4: Data breaches

Each module takes 15-20 minutes to complete, and participants can work through the entire course or select individual modules based on their needs. Upon completion of Module 4, participants will receive a certificate for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
